They went up the roof to check the chimney pot was ok and then methodically checked our flue from chimney top to bottom with their camera, swept it and when that did not uncover the cause of the smoking Marc went on to meticulously go through the workings of our wood burning cooker until he discovered the cause. Marc was brilliant and upbeat to have in our home and solved a problem that many others failed to solve. Thank you Marc and George! Can’t recommend highly enough.

I contacted Marc for advice back in August for the replacement of our aged log-burner. He provided advice and sent photographs of installations he had carried out. We booked him... read more to install the new stove (Woodford 5X Widescreen), there was a bit of delay because he is so busy, but done on 22nd September in good time for winter. He arrived at exactly the time he had said, and straight away he and his apprentice set to work. The chimney was thoroughly swept, the stove set up and the liner, with cowl installed by lunchtime. The installation is HETAS registered. The stove is working well and we are pleased both with the heat output and appearance and grateful to Marc for his advice and workmanship. Definitely no hesitation in recommending him.

Great job done by Marc and the team. Good advice given around finding the right stove and it looks really good. The builder was friendly and did a brilliant job... read more knocking out the fireplace. Both worked really hard to get the look we were after. The lintle appears offset due to boxing on the left of the chimney hiding gas pipes from an old back boiler. When discovered the builder phoned Marc, who quickly found a registered person to cut down the pipes poking into the fire place.
